Nissan Navara pickup - MPG, running costs & CO2
For an almost two-tonne pickup, the Nissan Navara is pretty cheap to run
When it comes to low running costs, the Nissan Navara is among the more competitive models in the pickup class, which will delight commercial vehicle operators.
Nissan Navara MPG & CO2
Whether you choose between the Navara in King Cab spec with the 158bhp engine or the larger 187bhp engine in the four-wheel-drive Double Cab, Nissan claims both will return up to 40.4mpg and emit 184-204g/km of CO2. The four-wheel-drive Double Cab automatic, returns 38.2mpg and emits 194g/km of CO2.
You'll also need to re-fill the 17-litre tank of AdBlue tank (a liquid that helps to reduce nitrous-oxide emissions) every 7,000 miles or so. This costs around £25.
Warranty
All of Nissan’s commercial vehicles – including the Navara – get an excellent five-year/100,000-mile warranty, which can be transferred to subsequent owners.
Servicing
A service is due every 18,000 miles or 24 months – whichever comes first. This represents a big improvement on the previous Navara's 12,500-mile/12-month schedule.
Insurance
The Navara Visia and Acenta sit in insurance group 36, while the N-Connecta and Tekna are in groups 37 and 38 respectively. The N-Guard range-topper sits in insurance group 41.
