Hot car deal: striking Cupra Born EV for just £218 per month
A family EV with a sporty edge: our hot car deal for April 16th is the Cupra Born at just £218 per month
The all-electric Cupra Born is a sporty hatchback with sharp exterior styling and a plush feeling cabin than its closely related VW ID.3 stablemate. True, it’s not a genuine performance model, but it packs enough punch for most tastes and is still fun to drive. It’s spacious too, while generous levels of standard kit make it a really appealing family EV.
What’s so good about this Cupra Born deal?
This two-year deal lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,612.64, followed by monthly instalments of £217.72. If you’d prefer a little more flexibility, you can increase the mileage; a 10,000-mile annual allowance means you’ll pay £238.56 every month, with the initial deposit increasing by £250.08.
Offered in V1 specification, the Born model offered in this particular deal comes with a generous amount of standard kit, including 18-inch alloys, full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, front sports seats, dual-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, a rear-view camera, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display with integrated sat-nav.
Power comes from a 58kWh battery supplying a single 201bhp electric motor; 0-62mph takes 7.3 seconds, with a 99mph top speed. During our own testing we found the Born to be pretty efficient, so Cupra’s claims of a 264-mile overall range should be achievable in the right conditions. And, with 120kW fast charging ability, you’ll be able to replenish the car’s battery from 5-80% in around 35 minutes, so you shouldn’t be kept waiting around on longer journeys.
What’s so good about the Cupra Born?
With its sharp styling, distinctive copper accents and generous levels of standard kit, there’s actually quite a lot to like about the Cupra Born. A practical, usable range adds to its appeal, while it also manages to be fun to drive and impressively efficient, too.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
