Omoda E5 targets rivals: now with zero deposit and APR

Strong finance deal with no interest and no deposit makes this stylish new EV a serious value contender

Omoda E5 deal
  • £0 deposit and 0% APR finance now available
  • 257-mile electric range and 28-minute fast charging
  • Packed with tech, priced from £33,065

Electric cars are getting more affordable and Omoda has introduced a new PCP finance deal that offers a zero-deposit, zero-interest route into electric car ownership. Available on the fully-electric Omoda E5 until the end of June, the deal means buyers can spread the cost of the car without paying a penny upfront or any interest across the term.

The E5 is Omoda’s first electric model for the UK, and since launching in September 2024, nearly 2,000 have already hit the road. Now, with this tempting finance offer, it’s likely to become an even more popular option for families and fleet buyers alike, made easier by Omoda’s growing network of 73 dealerships.

What’s the deal?

The finance offer applies to the Omoda E5 Comfort 61kWh model. With 0% APR on a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) agreement, buyers don’t have to pay any deposit – just fixed monthly repayments. Mileage is capped at 6,000 miles per year, and as usual with PCP, there’s the option to pay a final sum to own the car outright, hand it back, or part-exchange it for another model at the end of the term.

It’s a simple, interest-free way to get into a stylish new electric SUV with minimal upfront cost. Omoda hasn’t released full monthly payment details publicly, but the zero deposit and 0% APR headline figures make it a compelling offer on paper.

What is the Omoda E5?

The E5 is a mid-size SUV with seating for five, designed to take on popular rivals like the MGS5 EV and Peugeot E-2008. It features a 61kWh battery and offers up to 257 miles of range, with the ability to fast charge from 30% to 80% in 28 minutes via the sort of DC chargers found along major roads.

Efficiency is a strong point too – it uses just 15.5kWh per 62 miles according to Omoda, while 99% of the battery is usable thanks to advanced battery management tech. That means you should get closer to the quoted range in real-world driving than with many rivals.

Inside, the Omoda E5 comes well equipped. While full spec details vary by trim, expect high levels of technology and driver assistance systems, all included as standard. Prices start from £33,065 – already competitive, and now even more tempting with the finance offer applied.

Why now?

The timing of this deal is no coincidence. March 2025 was the UK’s best month on record for EV registrations, with over 69,000 electric cars sold according to SMMT figures. As the electric market accelerates, Omoda is positioning itself as one of the best-value choices around – particularly for those switching from petrol or diesel for the first time.

Victor Zhang, UK Country Director for Omoda, said: “Customers recognise the blend of high quality, extensive specification and value for money that the car represents. With the favourable finance terms now being offered, we expect more people to start their Omoda journey with our all-electric model.”

See it in person

You can see the Omoda E5 in the metal – and book a test drive – at the Everything Electric London show, running at ExCeL London from April 16th to 18th. Omoda will have cars on display and available to drive (subject to availability), making it a great opportunity to check out the brand and its first UK EV in person.

  • 257-mile range
