The most comfortable and practical car I've ever owned and that's out of quite a few over nearly 40 years of driving. The 178bhp diesel engine pulls really well and accelerates better that you would have right to expect for such a large car. Equipment is more generous than you'll expect with every conceivable 'gadget' that soon become part of your driving experience. The ride is very good soaking up potholes and bumps with ease,and the leather seats are as comfortable as my favourite armchair. Overall it's a lovely car to drive or travel in as a passenger, with very good build quality and no reliability issues.

Good overall so far. Used for a 30 mile daily commute across pennines so needed the AWD. Its currently got winter tyres on and is very secure on wet or snowy roads. Average MPG over first 15000 miles has been 34.7 which is reasonable given its size and weight. We get 40mpg on a long run. No problems at all so far.

I replaced my VW Touran with this after the Touran's running qualities were severely affected by its' emissions "fix". I like big cars, and the new Galaxy is certainly that. Its generous equipment specification makes it exceedingly comfortable and it is a real pleasure to drive on the auto 6 speed gearbox fitted. It's a fantastic motorway cruiser, but just as much at home on short runs - and the auto box makes driving in traffic really easy. The economy is good for the size of car too, whilst the performance is impressive for the power/weight ratio of the vehicle. I haven't found one thing to complain about yet - a lovely car.
