Does all the main things well. It's a car with character, designed by a person not a computer. Not sure why Carbuyer says it's unsophisticated - how many so called sophisticated cars have cooled seats? And they are one of the most comfortable I've had.

I like my Mustang. Yes it is silly on UK roads and in town a bit cumbersome. Though it will plod along at 800 revs in 6th making driving easy, then when the Indians appear on the horizon it can shoot off like a rocket. Handling is excellent though in damp conditions it is a worry. Sensible to use the wet and snow track control, which is activated by four clicks of a button, taking you into sports and race mode first, so you have to be careful here. Economy has been indicated at 29mpg over many thousands of miles, even better on winter tyres. The only warranty claim has been to take it in for a summer trim as the projected puddle lamp horse became a bit hairy after the winter. Indicated Oil life is typically only about 6,000 miles, so a mid service oil change only seems to keep costs down. Parts have been reasonable with front brake pads available at less than £60.

I was one of the very first people in the UK to pre-order this car (order #226). I was so excited to get this car and I was sad to see it sold only 19 months later. It's a scary quick car, looks utterly gorgeous and it turned heads everywhere you went. I even ended up on a "Supercar" spotting blog! If you like modifying cars, there is an overwhelming plethora of parts to choose from. Sadly, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired and its tiring to drive in heavy traffic; these were the two reasons I begrudgingly sold it. But if you want tantalising performance, looks and long distance comfort, basically a poor man's Aston Martin, then this should absolutely be on your must buy list.

Fab car. No idea why was not available in UK before. The V8 is great. Car is a joy to own and drive. A proper muscle car for European markets. Totally usable on British roads all year round (just slow down when wet; winter tires help on ice). It has 4 seats but you should think of it as of a 2-seater, but that's no reason not to buy one.
