Hot car deal: Eye-catching Ford Puma compact SUV for £203 a month

Fun-to-drive with plenty of practicality; our hot car deal for 25 January is the Ford Puma for just £203 a month

Ford Puma SUV driving

The Ford Puma provides an appealing blend of practicality and affordability, while maintaining strong levels of kit throughout the range. But the real ace up its sleeve lies in how it drives, and nothing else in the segment will put a smile on your face like the Blue Oval’s accomplished compact SUV.

It’ll easily handle most things everyday family life can throw at it, while still offering tremendous fun from behind the wheel; the Puma’s agile chassis, adjustable balance and precise steering make it feel especially focused on the road, albeit at the slight expense of overall comfort.

What’s so good about this Ford Puma deal?

This deal from Leasing.com lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,102.58, then monthly payments of £202.62 over a four-year term. There’s plenty of flexibility if you need to adjust the length of the agreement, or increase the agreed mileage limit, with only a few extra pounds added to the monthly instalments.

The Puma model offered in this particular deal comes in entry-level Titanium trim, although you’ll find that it still features lots of kit. Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, power-folding heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a heated windscreen and a eight-inch touchscreen running Ford’s Sync 3 infotainment system.

Power comes from a 123bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine, helping the Puma accelerate from 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds. It features a six-speed manual gearbox, which is actually the more economical choice when compared to the seven-speed automatic version. Ford claims you should see average fuel economy of up to 47.9mpg, while the auto is slightly behind with a combined figure of 46.3mpg.

What’s so good about the Ford Puma?

ford puma rear deals

The Ford Puma is a standout small SUV, offering genuine driving enjoyment while also acting as practical family transport – a pretty rare recipe for models in this class. Sure, the rear cabin might be a little tight for some, but useful touches such as its heated windscreen and Megabox rear storage area come in very handy, while decent economy, performance and kit levels round off an appealing package.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
