Extremely nice car to drive. The engine is peppy and smooth. We had no issues except some loose plastic clips on some interior parts and the plastic adjustments are not as good as on the premium competition. The real issue is the fuel consumption. Our first 1,500 mile consumption was 26mpg with mostly small trips. It increased to 28mpg after a 700 mile journey to France. This is similar to my neighbour's BMW M4, it doesn't make any sense to me. I had an Audi TTS a few years ago that I was driving hard and I had marginally higher mpg figures than the MINI.

Absolutely fantastic little car, completely classless with style. Anyone can drive a MINI from the housewives of suburbia to the Lord of the manor. I utterly adore mine.
