Audi A4 SE Technik now with more equipment
The mid-range Audi A4 SE Technik is now cheaper and better equipped than before
The price of the Audi A4 SE Technik has been reduced by £350 – offering customers more equipment for less cash than ever before.
The mid-range SE Technik specification is now available with a choice of three petrol and three diesel engines, as well as the option of saloon and Avant estate body styles. It now costs just £1,000 more than the basic SE model and represents a saving of £3,025 over specifying the extra equipment individually.
All SE Technik models now get Milano leather seats, integrated sat-nav, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as front and rear parking assistance. In addition, the previous model’s 17-inch alloy wheels have been upgraded to a set of 10-spoke 18-inch wheels, while metallic paint is also now included in the price.
The impressive equipment list doesn’t stop there, though. Three-zone climate control that allows the driver, front-seat passenger and rear-seat passengers to set different interior temperatures is standard, as well as automatic lights and wipers, plus split folding rear seats. Avant estate models also feature an electric boot lid.
Along with the updated equipment list, the engine line-up is now faster and more efficient than before. CO2 emissions have been reduced across most of the range, while economy and 0-62mph times are also improved.
Prices start at £24,960 for the 118bhp 1.8-litre TFSI petrol and go up to £32,220 for the 222bhp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol with quattro four-wheel drive. The most expensive diesel model is the 175bhp 2.0-litre TDI quattro, which starts at £31,935, while the more practical Avant model costs around £1,400 more than the saloon across the range.
