New Fiat Doblo for January launch

The revised Fiat Doblo will launch with new trims and new equipment

The new Fiat Doblo MPV will go on sale next month, boasting a completely revised range with more emphasis on value for money, according to Fiat.

A new entry-level model is to be introduced as part of the revisions. Priced from £13,480, the new Fiat Doblo Pop reduces the range’s starting price by £1,000.

The Doblo Pop features remote central locking, electric front windows and a 60:40 folding rear seat. All models in the Doblo range feature a range of electronic grip and stability assistance and a number of airbags.

The MyLife trim has been replaced by the Easy model, and adds front fog lights, electric door mirrors, steering wheel audio controls and a height adjustable driver’s seat over the Pop. The Doblo Easy is priced from ££14,650.

There’s also a new top of the range Lounge trim that replaces the Eleganza and features alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and cruise control. The Doblo Lounge starts at £17,980.

The 2015 Fiat Doblo features significantly revised exterior styling designed to make the van-based MPV appear more car-like.

The Doblo will also have improved sound insulation, and a tweaked gear shift for a more positive feel.

Inside, the Doblo retains its impressive practicality, with five seat models boasting 790-litre boot increasing to 3,200 litres when the seats are folded. The parcel shelf can carry up to 70kg of luggage.

Fiat claims the Doblo offers one of broadest range of choice in the small MPV class, with three engine and gearbox choices, three trim levels, two roof heights and the choice of five- or seven-seat configurations. Sliding rear doors come as standard and there’s a choice of tailgates, plus the option of a folding front passenger seat for even more carrying capacity.
