Toyota Auris details revealed at Geneva
Brand-new 1.2-litre petrol turbo debuts in Auris
New engines and a series of improvements have been announced for the Toyota Auris at Geneva. The family hatchback and estate models will sport a refreshed look and an improved interior when they hit the UK later in the year.
The British-built Toyota Auris hatchback and Toyota Auris Touring Sports will be powered by a tweaked engine range and according to Toyota, the hybrid version "remains at the heart of the range".
The new range includes a brand-new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that'll make its debut in the Auris this year, as well as a new 1.6-litre D-4D diesel.
Toyota also promises an "upgraded cabin" with new comfort and safety equipment.
The Auris and Auris Touring Sports were unveiled alongside the revised Toyota Avenis saloon and estate.
