Skoda announces exclusive air-con and brakes service offer
Czech car maker's summer-themed, combined service is priced at £89
Skoda has announced a new service offer for its customers, to help prepare their cars for summer.
Available to owners of Skodas between three and 10 years old, the service deal includes an air-conditioning service and a full brake fluid change.
Skoda promises to clean the car’s pollen filter and decontaminate the air-conditioning unit, along with checking for any leaks and changing the internal oils and lubricants. The brake fluid will be completely changed and replaced with ‘Skoda approved’ fluids, which are said to help “maintain optimum braking efficiency” and protect it against corrosion.
Head of Skoda service and parts Warren Richards said: “It’s important for us to ensure that once Skoda cars are out on the roads, regular aftersales checks are in place to maintain the efficient running of our vehicles.”
Richards added that this service means Skoda drivers can “enjoy hassle-free motoring all summer.”
The service offer is priced at £89, which Skoda claims is £35 cheaper than performing the different services separately. It’s available to all Skoda vehicles that have had their first MOT (i.e. have been on the road for three years) and are no more than 10 years old. However, the offer does not cover V6-engined cars, such as the Skoda Superb V6, which has been part of the range since the car launched in 2001.
The service offer is available now and ends on 31 July 2015. For more information on the offer, visit Skoda’s website.
