Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition set for August 2018 launch
Limited-run 2018 Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition celebrates 100 years of Bentley; just 100 to be made
This is the new 2018 Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition, a limited-run version of the standard Mulsanne saloon built to celebrate the British luxury brand’s upcoming centenary in 2019.
Just 100 examples of the limited edition car will be produced, with each taking inspiration from W.O. Bentley’s final design for the 1930 8 Litre. The limited-edition specification can be applied to any of the three models in the range: the Mulsanne, Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase and Mulsanne Speed.

Each Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition has a specification that echoes that of W.O. Bentley’s personal 1930 Bentley 8 Litre. The modern car’s interior is trimmed in ‘Heritage Hide’ leather upholstery that mimics aged leather in classic cars and features an illuminated cocktail cabinet, rear privacy curtains and a rear-seat entertainment system. Each car gets an intricate art deco marquetry decoration depicting the 8 Litre’s grille and lights, set off by an inlaid slice of the original car's crankshaft. Two-tone ‘Fireglow’ red upholstery and dark-stained burr walnut trim aim to echo those of the original car.
Outside, the Bentley Mulsanne W.O. features ‘Onyx’ black paint as standard, though customers can choose any finish they like. There’s a chrome bonnet strip, chrome ‘Flying B’ mascot and a chrome grille too. Special centenary badging also helps sets the W.O. Edition apart.
The Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition will make its public debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 28. Prices and an exact on-sale date are yet to be announced.
