Audi introduces new Black Edition and Vorsprung models
New trim levels add unique bodystyling, larger alloy wheels and tech updates
Audi has introduced two new trim levels to its UK model range dubbed Black Edition and Vorsprung. Both are available across a variety of the manufacturer's current models, adding upgraded infotainment and additional styling details to both the interior and exterior.
The new Black Edition trim complements the popular Audi S Line trim and can be specced on the A3, S3, A4, A5, Q2, Q5, Q7, and TT. For the Q2, Q5 and A5 models, Black Edition adds 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels (depending on the exact model) a flat-bottomed multifunction sports steering wheel, rear privacy glass and a choice of matte or gloss black exterior trim parts.
The Vorsprung package is available on the A5, A7, Q3, Q5, Q7 and Q8 models and builds on the extras found in the Black Edition, adding upgraded Matrix LED headlights and larger 20-inch, 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels, depending on the model.
Additional upgrades as part of the Vorsprung package include adaptive suspension for the A5, A7 Sportback and Q5, adaptive air suspension for the Q7 and Q8 SUV models, and upgraded safety systems including park assist, lane assist and cross traffic assist.
The remainder of the Vorsprung upgrades are for the interior, and include leather seats, heated rear seats, an upgraded stereo from either a BOSE or Bang & Olufsen, a panoramic glass sunroof, and powered door closing.
The Black Edition range starts from £26,845 for the Audi A3 30 TFSI model, rising to £67,295 for the Q7 50 TDI Quattro. The Vorsprung variants start at £48,875 for the Audi A5 Sportback 35 TFSI, going all the way up to £83,040 for the Q8 50 TDI Quattro.
