- Available to order now
Toyota has updated the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota C-HR for 2022. Both cars receive an upgraded infotainment system and new paint options. The refreshed models are available to order now, with deliveries beginning early next year.
To keep both cars feeling competitive with respective rivals such as the new Vauxhall Astra and the Nissan Juke, the 2022 Corolla and C-HR feature Toyota’s latest Smart Connect+ infotainment system. This eight-inch unit comes as standard on all models apart from the entry-level Icon grade. Toyota says the new system is up to 2.4 times faster than the outgoing one and can receive over-the-air updates and traffic information. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto also feature.
Toyota has introduced several new paint colours for 2022. The Corolla is now available in ‘Platinum White Pearl’ and ‘Silver Metallic’ finishes, with a bi-tone option made exclusively for the hatchback. You can order the C-HR in a ‘Deep Amethyst’ metallic paint, which is available with all trim levels. The Corolla saloon and C-HR Design get new alloy wheel designs, sized 17 and 18-inches respectively.
The Toyota Corolla Sports Trek Special Edition will be offered for another year following the extension of Toyota’s partnership with the US bicycle manufacturer. This model features model-specific 18-inch alloy wheels, a 20mm raised ride height, bolstered wheel arches and a lined undertray to protect the underside of the car when off-road. For 2022, it’s only available with the 178bhp 2.0-litre hybrid powertrain.
