New Dacia Jogger could be here by 2026
Latest spy shots hint Dacia Jogger refresh could be announced next year
- Facelift for the Dacia Jogger MPV
- Could look like new Bigster SUV
- Expected late 2025 or early 2026
One of our favourite family cars, the Dacia Jogger, is set to be updated next year with a new look and there are likely to be other improvements on the way as well. The model has already been subject to a few small changes in its short time on sale including getting the new Dacia badge, but next year we should see some more significant upgrades.
Our spy photographers have spotted the new model out testing on the road, but camouflage stuck to the bodywork disguises the new bumpers and lights. It looks like the new front-end of the car will have a slimmer grille and a chunkier look that brings it closer to how the new Dacia Bigster SUV is styled, as well as the latest Spring electric car.
What do we know about the new Dacia Jogger?
While the camouflage in our spy shots covers up the new look to a large extent, we can guess that the new Jogger will have a new front-end look and some redesigned rear lights, simply because that’s what has disguised; the rest of the bodywork is clearly the same as before, at least on this test vehicle.
What we can’t see is the inside of the car, where we expect there to be more changes. It’s possible that the infotainment set-up will get a refresh with a more modern design, plus there could be some different materials or seats. There could also be new alloy wheel designs to choose from and perhaps some different paint options. We don’t have any of these details confirmed yet, but most facelifts will include things like those to make the newer model more attractive to buyers.
Since there won’t be a seven-seat version of the new Bigster SUV, the Jogger will remain as the only seven-seater car in the Dacia range. However, new engines might be added to the range including the Hybrid 155 engine that’s been announced for the Bigster SUV. This is similar to the current Hybrid 140 model, which uses a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor, but with a little more power.
When will the new Dacia Jogger arrive?
The new Jogger is unlikely to arrive any time soon, as the current model hasn’t been on sale for all that long. This means we expect a reveal later on in 2025 at the earliest, and models may not be available to drive away in until 2026.
