Fiat 500L prices announced
Fiat says that the larger 500L will start from £14,990.
Fiat has announced that its 500L MPV will start from £14,990. The new car is designed as a larger brother to the Fiat 500 city car, offering the same kind of style but with enough space in the interior and boot for growing families.
The £14,990 price-tag applies to two different versions: the Pop Star or Easy. The former gets a body-coloured dashboard and alloy wheels, while the Easy is the more sensible choice, with parking sensors and electric rear windows. Both come with Bluetooth, cruise control and a five-inch touchscreen.
The range-topping Lounge model starts from £16,390 and adds automatic air-con, larger alloys, parking sensors, a huge glass sunroof, automatic lights and wiper, plus fog lamps. There’s a long options list, too, which includes things like an on-board coffee making machine and a ‘Beats by Dre’ stereo.
Four engines are available at launch, ranging from a 900cc two-cylinder turbocharged petrol with 104bhp to a 1.6-litre diesel with 104bhp. The latter is the most expensive engine in the line-up, with prices starting from £17,490.
