Ford Mondeo revealed
Ford's all-new Mondeo has broken cover and is due to arrive in the UK in 2013.
Ford releases first official pictures of the all-new Mondeo.
On sale in North America later this year, badged as the Ford Fusion, the new Mondeo goes on sale in the UK in early 2013 and promises to be the most exciting and desirable version yet.
Pictured here in saloon form the new Mondeo will also appear as a hatchback and estate in the future.
The new Mondeo is Ford's latest model along with the Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus and Ford Kuga to be sold unchanged, around the world. Prices in the UK are likely to match the current car, starting at around £17,800.
In addition to the extensive range of updated petrol and diesel engines, two hybrid versions will also join the line-up offering fuel economy of up to 140mpg.
Packed with clever technology and higher quality interiors, the new Mondeo will also offer a choice of six-speed manual or paddleshift SelectShift automatic gearboxes.
The Mondeo's next public outing will be at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where it will appear as a hatchback.
