Green Mazda CX-5 arrives in early 2012
Mazda's all-new compact crossover SUV, the CX-5 will premier at the 2011 Frankfurt Motorshow on Tuesday, 13 September, reaching showrooms in early 2012.
The Mazda CX-5 compact crossover SUV will be available with a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine which engineers are hoping will produce class leading levels of CO2 emissions- less than 120g/km. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be offered as well as two wheel drive versions allowing it to compete with the Land Rover Freelander and MINI Countryman.
The stylish new CX-5 will also be joined at Frankfurt by the facelifted Mazda3, which promises to deliver lower emissions, improved driving dynamics, an updated interior and higher build quality levels.
