Volvo announces V60 prices
Practical V60 model will start from £23,145 and is on sale now.
Volvo has announced prices for the new Volvo V60.
Costing from £23,145 to £37,895, four trim levels will be available -beginning with ES, and rising up through SE, SE Lux and up to the sporty R-Design models.
The flagship T6 SE Lux model has four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox as standard.
R-Design models, featuring more sporty styling and chassis enhancements, will be available from £25,695. Aside from the entry-level D3 model, the estate costs £1,150 above the equivalent S60 saloon model.
There are six engines to choose from – two diesels and four petrols. Entry into the range will be the 2.0-litre D3 diesel model, which returns more than 50mpg when fitted with a manual gearbox. There is also a 2.4-litre diesel, and both engines can be had with either manual or automatic gearboxes.
Petrol engines begin with the 1.6-litre T3. The engine features stop-start technology and is only available with a six-speed manual gearbox. The T3 will return up to 42.2mpg on the combined cycle and emits 156g/km CO2.
Next up is the 1.6-litre T4 variant, which is available with either six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The T4 also features Start/Stop technology on manual gearbox only.
A 2.0-litre petrol engine powers the T5 variant, and comes with manual or automatic gearboxes, while the top of the range four-wheel-drive T6 petrol model is an auto only.
All models feature electronic climate control, cruise control, floor mats, steering wheel remote audio controls, alloy wheels and leather steering wheel and gear stick. In addition, a six-speaker Performance Sound Audio System, 16" alloy wheels and charcoal trim are also standard.
