Previous was zippy 451/89 then 109 came up & v happy. V smooth, auto is seamless, switching to manual sports mode when nec is great, some find it noisy but I like the grrr..isn't that the point? Overtaking is a breeze on m'ways & drives firmly, barely feel difference at 70 than a 'normal' car, & shimmies through town. Lots of extras, a high end sporty feel, slightly high seated, panoramic roof is lovely option. It's chunky, slick & has swishy interior. Don't need lots of space & wouldn't swap it for any other mini city car. One time the radio shut down, easy re tune tho no other issues. There's a 125 Ltd edition, if I could I would buy one.

I love it. It's absolutely reliable, nippy, easy to park, well built, has everything I need. A 500 mile round trip on A Roads and the M4 motorway is no problem. I cannot see why it gets bad press, you need to accept it for what it is, it's not meant to be, nor is it trying to be anything more than a two seater city car. It runs rings around bigger cars in the city, you can turn in one go in most streets and park in near impossible gaps. I can never see me parting with mine.

I'm extremely impressed with all the work that went into designing this car. Every bit of space is used well (though the glovebox is surprisingly stunted). Most maneuverable car I've ever driven. In fact, it's ease of piloting is far more important to me than the usual 0-60 valuation (which is quite decent in the turbo version). Manual shift is very fun. I feel guilty being able to park in any neighborhood in San Francisco.

Excellent city car. Good MPG and you'll be amazed where you can park it. Only problem I had was the TomTom Live not working properly but just updated the SD card and all working fine.

£15000 new car broke down with electric failure on day 1 collection. A complete farcical situation Sales people suggested I cancel order on grounds of unfit for purpose which it was and I did! Smart uninterested in feedback Avoid you'll know more about car than dealers who hate selling Smart alongside Mercedes cars Stressed out experience from enquiry to cancellation

Bought the Smart for my wife as she liked the styling and for practicality as a town car on paper it should be good, however the reliability since new, especially of the electronics and sat-Nav has been terrible. The car has been dogged with constant problems since it was bought and has been back at the dealers pretty much every 2 months. Also the dealership and Smart seem to have had no interest in resolving the issues or compensating for all of the time, cost and inconvenience caused. My advice - don't touch a Smart with a 10 foot barge pole!

The new white and black edition has the 16 inch wheels on, the vehicle Is 2 weeks old and has been rejected and sent back. The wheels cause a constant wining noise when the vehicle is in motion, apparently it's only on the smart with 16 inch wheels..
