Hot car deal: Toyota C-HR with concept-car looks from just £258
Our hot car deal for May 30th is the hybrid Toyota C-HR coupe-SUV that looks like nothing else on the road for just £258
So many cars these days look alike, but the Toyota C-HR coupe-SUV is an exception to that rule, and this attractive leasing deal makes it even more affordable to get this concept car design off the motor show stand and onto your driveway. The latest C-HR doesn’t just look the part, but it’s also very efficient thanks to hybrid technology and drives well, too.
What’s so good about this Toyota C-HR deal?
This deal from Select Car Leasing requires a small initial payment of £2,322 which is then followed by monthly payments of £258 over a three-year period. Admittedly, the 5,000-mile annual limit isn’t the most generous, but it will suit drivers making mostly shorter trips, and the terms can be tweaked for a small increase in the initial and monthly payments. Increasing the cap to 8,000 miles annually bumps the monthly payment up to just £263 and the initial payment to £2,366, so it may be worth it if you want more leeway.
This Toyota C-HR is offered in entry-level 1.8-litre Hybrid Icon specification, but don’t let that put you off. Icon cars still get lots as standard, including 17-inch alloy wheels, an eight-inch infotainment screen and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. The 1.8-litre version is also the Carbuyer pick of the range because while it’s a little slower than the 2.0-litre version, it’s still good to drive, great value for money, and a little more efficient, delivering up to 58.9mpg.
What’s so good about the Toyota C-HR?
We like the Toyota C-HR because it sports an out-there design that’s a successful evolution from its predecessor, making it stand out in a market of derivative rivals. Sure, it may not offer the outright practicality that other full-blow SUVs do, but its high ride height will appeal to buyers after a commanding view of the road – in fact, the acronym C-HR even stands for Compact High Rider, so it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the three-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
