Hot car deal: capable Volkswagen ID.3 hatchback for £227 a month
Our hot car deal for February 22nd is the all-electric VW ID.3 family hatchback for just £227 a month
The Volkswagen ID.3 was the first fully electric car from the German brand that had a clean sheet design and wasn’t based on an existing model. We were fairly critical of its interior quality and infotainment setup when it first hit UK roads, back in 2020. But since then the all-electric has benefitted from a facelift and some welcome revisions to key areas.
The sat-nav now delivers swifter responses to inputs, while improved voice control and over-the-air (OTA) tech upgrades keep things running more smoothly. For the 2023 mid-life facelift, Volkswagen also added softer materials to the interior, and included microfibre material for the door cards and seats that uses more than 70% recycled material. This all means that the latest ID.3 is a much-improved car with more of a quality feel about the cabin, and it’s certainly one to consider if you’re after an accomplished, all-electric family hatch.
What’s so good about this VW ID.3 deal?
This deal from Lease Loco lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,722.68 then monthly payments of £226.89 over two years. As is often the case, there is some flexibility on the duration of the agreement or the agreed mileage, although you will pay a little more; for example, upping the arrangement to 8,000 miles per year adds £23.04 to each monthly instalment.
Standard kit includes rear parking sensors, a wireless smartphone charging function, heated front seats and the Design Pack Plus which brings LED Matrix headlights, 30-colour interior ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.
Being a Pro Performance model, this particular ID.3 has a 58kWh battery and delivers 201bhp. 0-62mph is dispatched in 7.3 seconds, while overall range is a claimed 258 miles, which should be plenty enough to suit most lifestyles.
What’s so good about the VW ID.3?
The Volkswagen ID.3 offers a refined driving experience; smooth and quiet on the move, while it’s swift and responsive, too, with VW striking a nice balance between ride and handling. Great interior space is another plus, while the ID.3’s boot is actually slightly bigger than you’ll find in a Golf, which helps to make it a practical family hatch.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
