Best car leasing deals 2025: this week’s top PCH offers
Our experts sift through the best car lease deals to save you money, and this week includes new offers from Mazda, Peugeot and Volkswagen

When leasing a new car the sheer number of deals, payment terms and deals can seem almost overwhelming. That’s why our team of car experts keep an eye on the latest trends and only pick out the car leases with the biggest discounts on the best models. We also check the terms and conditions to make sure there are no surprises like stinging admin fees or excessive initial rental payments.
Our new choices for this week’s round-up of the best leasing deals include the capable Mazda CX-5 for £242 a month, the eye-catching Peugeot 208 for £172, and the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace seven-seater for £239 a month.
Before signing on the dotted line, you’ll want to understand exactly how a leasing deal (also known as PCH) works, and how it differs from Personal Control Purchase (PCP) finance and Hire Purchase (HP). In its most basic terms, think of PCH as akin to renting the car on a long-term basis, while PCP allows you to pay off a car in instalments before deciding whether to buy it outright with a balloon payment or handing it back at the end of the term. Hire Purchase is more like a mortgage, where you pay monthly instalments until you own the car outright.
Along with cash purchases, these are the main methods of buying a new car in the UK, and the Carbuyer team also picks out the week’s best PCP car deals, along with some of our favourite used car deals of the week. A PCH deal is enticing thanks to its affordable prices, giving you access to new cars with very little hassle, but there’s typically no opportunity to own the car at the end of the term.

Best new car leasing deals – latest deals updated 13 March 2025
Mazda CX-5: £242 a month

The Mazda CX-5 has always been good to drive but, after a refresh in 2022, it now offers a much improved overall package. Suspension tweaks delivered enhanced levels of comfort and refinement, while the CX-5’s upmarket interior, decent passenger space and good levels of technology mean it’s a talented all-rounder that’s worthy of consideration.
About this lease deal… |
|
The CX-5’s e-Skyactiv G 2.0-litre, mild-hybrid petrol engine produces 163bhp, which helps the mid-size family SUV reach 62mph from a standstill in a just-about-respectable 10.7 seconds. This particular model features a six-speed manual transmission, which we think is preferable to the optional six-speed automatic, although claimed average fuel economy is a middling 43.5mpg. The Centre-Line specification includes 17-inch alloys, LED adaptive headlights, front and rear parking sensors, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, dual zone climate control, and a 10.25-inch infotainment display with integrated navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Peugeot 208: £172 a month

The latest Peugeot 208 looks sharp inside and out, which helps it capture attention in a crowded supermini market. It offers a decent balance of ride and handling, plus strong levels of equipment, but interior space could be better, and the 208’s small boot impacts on overall practicality.
About this lease deal… |
|
If you’re after a supermini, but don’t need it to offer the most space or practicality, then the Peugeot 208 could be a reasonable choice. It’s good to drive, and its 99bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine delivers a fair mix of performance and fuel economy; 0-62mph is covered in 10.1 seconds, while average fuel economy is the more striking figure at up to 58.2mpg. The sporty GT trim level features 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, a black roof with gloss black exterior accents, LED headlights with Smartbeam Assist, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry and start, eight-colour interior ambient lighting, and Peugeot’s i-Cockpit setup with a 10-inch display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace: £239 a month

The VW Tiguan Allspace has actually been discontinued and replaced by the new Tayron SUV, but one of the advantages for buyers is that the outgoing model can currently be had at a bargain price. The Allspace offers two extra seats that are really meant for occasional use, but add an extra layer of practicality to the regular Tiguan’s already impressive skillset. If you’re not fussed about having the very latest model on your driveway, then this could be a particularly shrewd deal.
About this lease deal… |
|
This Tiguan Allspace comes with Volkswagen’s ubiquitous 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, producing 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. 0-62mph is taken care of in 9.8 seconds, with claimed average fuel economy of around 42mpg. Aside from its seven-seat configuration, the Allspace Life model includes 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, rear privacy glass, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, tri-zone climate control, VW’s Discover Media navigation system, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.

Peugeot 408: £209 a month

Despite being a coupe SUV the Peugeot 408 doesn’t feel like a compromise in terms of overall practicality. There’s a big boot and plenty of space for passengers, while the GT specification of this particular car means you’ll benefit from lots of standard kit. The 408 isn’t as good to drive as its sporty looks might suggest, but it remains an attractive family car that comes with a high quality cabin and well integrated onboard technology.
About this lease deal… |
|
Power and performance certainly aren’t key strengths of the 408. The coupe-SUV’s 1.2-litre petrol hybrid engine provides a modest 134bhp and 230Nm of torque, which helps the 408 to a 0-62mph time of 10.2 seconds. What’s more impressive is the fuel economy on offer, which Peugeot claims should climb up to 58.8mpg across a mixture of roads. The GT trim level brings 19-inch alloys, full matrix LED headlights, a smart powered tailgate (with foot operation), a heated steering wheel, and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Cupra Leon: £226 a month

If you’re after a sporty hatch but don’t fancy the prospect of a Volkswagen Golf, then perhaps the sporty Cupra Leon could be the answer. Its striking looks set it apart from many rivals, while a high-quality cabin and generous levels of standard kit add more appeal, along with solid real-world efficiency from its 1.5-litre, mild-hybrid petrol engine.
About this lease deal… |
|
The Cupra Leon is a five-door hatch that offers just as much substance as it does style. There’s decent space for rear passengers, a 380-litre boot that’s on a par with the VW Golf, while claimed overall fuel economy (WLTP) sits at 49.9mpg. Ok, the 148bhp 1.5-litre eTSI doesn’t offer huge performance (0-62mph is taken care of in 8.9 seconds), but this V2-spec car offers plenty of standard kit, including 19-inch alloys, LED headlights, rear privacy glass, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, a heating function for the front seats and steering wheel, three-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, and a 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated navigation.

Peugeot E-5008: £262 a month

The Peugeot E-5008 brings an impressive balance of style and practicality to any buyer that’s after a capable, all-electric seven-seater SUV. It’s comfortable, offers plenty of space for passengers, and comes with a claimed 311-mile range, although we think from our own testing that this is more likely to be around 260 miles in real world driving.
About this lease deal… |
|
The Peugeot i-Cockpit setup is a striking design and really lifts the interior above that of many rivals. The 21-inch panoramic curved display is a standout feature, while there’s some interesting materials in use throughout the cabin, helping to give a more premium feel. This front-wheel drive model uses a 73kWh battery and single electric motor to deliver 210bhp, with 0-62mph covered in 9.7 seconds. In addition to that stunning curved display, the Allure specification includes 19-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, three-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Dacia Spring: £128 a month

The Dacia Spring is one of the cheapest cars currently on sale in the UK. Perfect as an efficient, urban runabout, its compact dimensions make it easy to pilot around town, while a practical 308-litre boot should be big enough for day-to-day family needs. If you need a car for school runs, shopping trips and local commutes, and want to enjoy low running costs, then the Spring is worth a look.
About this lease deal… |
|
This Dacia Spring Expression 45 model isn’t really a car you’d want to use on longer journeys; 0-62mph takes 19.1 seconds and claimed overall range stands at 140 miles. But, flip things around, and the Spring makes for a great companion around town. It’s sprightly enough off the mark, has a great turning circle and is easy to drive, which means navigating congested streets will be a doddle. Plus, we found it to be extremely efficient, too, achieving an average of five miles per kilowatt hour across a mixture of roads. True, some of the interior quality is a little questionable, but if you take the unpretentious Spring for what is, it makes sense. Standard kit includes rear parking sensors, air-conditioning, and a seven-inch digital driver’s display, along with active safety kit such as land keep assist and automatic emergency braking.

Tesla Model Y: £349 a month

Offering more space and practicality than its smaller Model 3 sibling, the Tesla Model Y is a tempting choice. Throw in plenty of onboard technology, an excellent all-electric range, along with Tesla’s first-rate charging network, and it’s easy to see why Elon’s family SUV has firmly established itself as the go to EV for so many buyers.
About this lease deal… |
|
The Tesla Model Y was the fifth best-selling car in the UK last year, and the only pure EV in the top ten – a clear indication of just how accomplished it is. This Long Range RWD model is capable (at least on paper) of up to 373 miles of range from a single charge, while managing 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds. With a new model available soon, this is a great time to get behind the wheel of what is still an extremely capable, all-electric family car – particularly at this competitive price. The typical Tesla minimalist interior may not be to all tastes, while quality can be patchy in areas, but the Model Y’s range, efficiency, charging network and kerb appeal count for a lot.
