I have owned several Bentleys in the past. I bought my Betayga brand new (after around 2 years on the waiting list) and as I am a classic car collector I intended keeping as it was Bentley's first SUV. The car is rarely used and has only covered just over 11,000 miles in 6 years. in the last 1,000 miles it has developed two major issues, one requiring replacement wheel nuts and front brake discs to correct a loud clicking noise when turning (clearly a manufacturing error) and now the ABS unit has failed and requires a replacement at a cost to me of £5,000!
I have also had some of the niggles others have reported with the auto braking. I have had several warnings popping up, the brakes vacuum sensor failed and gave only an amber warning when one would expect a red warning for such a problem. Also, the plastic "chrome" plating peeling off the plastic gear change knob and cutting my hand.
Bentley's direct customer service is non-existent and one has the feeling that the customer is now regarded as a "cash cow" rather than a valued individual. How different things were when Bentley actually made Bentleys rather than just fitting out the interior of what is a VW with an Audi engine and a ZF gearbox which is also used in vans. I now have the car up for sale and will rejoice in seeing the last of it. If it is your dream car then think again, because it was also mine.
What's the one thing you like most about your car?
The Bentley fitted interior (except the plastic "chrome")
If you could improve one thing, what would it be?
As Bentley is now unable to actually make a complete car themselves then at least return to the days when their quality control of outsourced parts was actually quality control. Bentley should have the courage to give 7 years warranty. - okay that's two things.

I bought a brand new Bentayga and after a year of unbelievable problems I sent it back.
Driving at 30 mph the emergency stop kept kicking in on a clear road.
Nearly had several accidents.
Engine warning light on and off continually etc etc etc.
Really poor car and Bentley didn't have a clue how to sort it out
If you want to spend £185,000 and have the car in the workshop more than on the road then buy a Bentayga.
