Had a problem with rear window not coming back up but apart from that no issues. Citroen dealership is rubbish however. Stacks of equipment: colour reversing camera, music hard drive, dvd player being the highlights as standard for this model. Great styling compared to mitsubishi and pegeout cousins.

I think this is a fantastic car however the few problems I have had have been costly. I bought my car with 50,000 miles on the clock and in the last 4 years we've put another 50,000 on it. As usual the clutch slips like a greasy sailor. The automatic headlight adjuster disintegrated (possibly made from Bassets Liquorice). £252 from main dealer. I find that the car eats front tyres like it's going out of fashion (over £100 a piece). I'm now having gearbox problems, possible selector or synchromesh issues. All said though, if I won the lottery, I'd buy another one. Fabulous car for a family of four.

Very practical and surpisingly car like for a 4 x 4. Tyres where the biggest bonus fronts got 33k rears lasted through 50k! (variable 4wd)

Disapointed with the reliability the citroen 2.2 diesel lump in what is a mitsibushi outlander - the clutch started slipping at 28k miles (had to have new clutch citroen; wouldn't do it under warrenty), fuel additive tank split (warrenty), injector pipe came adrift (warrenty)causing it to break down. Additionally it did not like the really cold weather -13 degrees celsius, i'm 99% certain the diesel was gelling up either in the filter or the small fuel cooling radiator underneath the car - or was it the asda diesel fuel to blame? The overall performance of the engines is very good but i'd like to see a bit better economy - currently averaging approx 36 mpg travelling 70 miles a day on a & b roads which are failrly clear.

I love my c-crosser it is the best car i have ever owned. It is versatile, practical, powerful, handles superbly and most importantly, it turns heads with it's stylish looks and the uniqueness of there not being many around.

Nice car third row seats very hard and uncomfortable a faulty abs censor took over 10 days to get replacement car off road to long

I loved my C-Crosser - ideal for family of 7! Fully loaded on summer and skiing holidays with a roof-box, it was so reliable. But then it needed a new clutch at 60,000 miles (its now done 90,000 ish) and I write with sad news just having returned to the UK in two hire cars. The gearbox gave out on the motorway in France and we await its re-patriation. We are told that it is a write-off due to the cost of replacing the gearbox and will be sad to scrap it. However, we have read about C-Crosser clutch and gearbox problems due to the clutch/gearbox being unable to cope with the engine ... such a shame!
