I bought the car from new over 5 years ago and it has been totally reliable. The only issue that does bug me is the low profile tyres wear out much quicker than I have experienced on any other car in my 30 year driving career. That aside I still find it enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and it is still has striking good looks that aren't bettered by any other medium sized hatchback on the market.

Great drive and stylish. 18-inch tyres require the right tyre pressures else you can feel it. 1 issue to date with the high pressure fuel pump, fixed under warranty. Not so great as a rear seat passenger especially if there are 3 at the back. Super safe at high speeds and absolutely great breaks (although you need to get used to it). Fast enough for me. Very good 6 speed gearbox non EGS.

An excellent car all around. Fantastic space and comfort in both the front and back with the massage seats being a particularly nice feature and plenty of space in the back for our son. Lots of negative press comments about the non-opening rear window but it's not an issue (never opened them in other cars we owned) and the shape of the rear door allows wide opening when parked against other cars although it is restricted of parking against a wall. Superb refinement from the HDI engine with cruising through France at 130km/h with just 2200rpm on the clock, the engine is very flexible and more than happy to pull from low revs, the 6-speed gearbox is precise and the ride and handling are very well judged, none of the harshness you'd expect from 18" wheels (I've driven enough Audi S-Line spec cars to know that Citroen get the balance much better), the steering is a touch artificial but the car is easy to place. Interior quality is excellent but the graphics for the stereo are poor and let the side down a bit, but there are lots of fantastic features and the boot is a great size/ shape. Running costs are decent, 45mpg overall with 55mpg on a 70mph cruise and 35mpg for my wife's short commuting trip, tyres are expensive but I researched and therefore expected that and our Citroen dealer is fantastic with good value servicing which apart from a set of tyres at 18k has been the only expense. One of those cars that are great to live with and own but motoring hacks don't seem to 'get' when they jump in. Overall thoroughly impressed.

I have owned this 2013 DS4 hdi Style for 6 months, replacing my C4 2009 model 1.6 vtr/vti petrol. I find the car a pleasure to drive, being more economical and it feels quicker over all when overtaking. OK the rear windows do not go down but as we only have occasional rear seat passengers this is no hardship. My brother is six foot and no lightweight, and finds it a comfortable place to be in the back when we go to football. I have had a swan neck removable tow bar fitted for towing my motorbike/general trailer, making it a very practical everyday car. The electronic handbrake has taken some getting used to by my wife but now she loves it. The DS is a very attractive car with SUV looks and a two-door style with the hidden door handles. A pleasure both to own and drive I would recommend to anyone looking for something just that bit different.

Best car I have ever owned. Looks great, drives great, seats are very comfortable – they're like armchairs and very supportive. My only negatives are that the back doors only open a little bit, the rear seat space is a bit tight, not ideal for kids or and car seats. It doesn't hold its resale value very well, but apart from that it's a great car. If you want a small to medium hatchback, this car is a must.

Just a small and quick review. This car is awesome, it looks awesome, drives awesome and is just.....awesome! OK some useful info now, the whole no windows in the back isn't a big deal, who even used back windows anyways? Open the front window and science takes over, the air will travel in to your car towards the back seats, PROBLEM SOLVED :D. Nice and smooth driving with enough power to deal with harsh dirt track roads which I drive on regular basis. There is a few times though the car would feel like its been hit by a drone over pot holes but I guess I should avoid the pot holes in the first place lol. I drive around 20-30 miles a day and the tank lasts me at least 2 weeks which is fine considering the usage. This is only my second and looks like its going to be with me till the end (Hopefully a few more years). So yeah, I would buy this car if you like SUV/Hatchback looking cars with enough power and comfort to tickle your wild side if you catch my drift... P.S Don't let the white paint fool you, It looks a lot better on photo but I got the Grey paint and its a lot smarter looking....also you don't need to clean your car every 3rd day ;)

Bought for medium use work trips, circa 2,500 miles per month - had 36k on the clock and two years old. Have had the car for 9 months, and driven 20k no issues at all, driving sensibly gets 53mpg on mainly motorway driving at 70. Looks great, very well equipped and a pleasure to drive. After a puncture bought a spare wheel package for £200 on Bbay new, the 'no spare' kit that these new cars have is not a sensible option. Overall very pleased with this car and the second have prices make it a very attractive option.

Looks great, loaded with kit, powerful engine, comfortable, economical, whisper-quiet at 70mph, fabulous dashboard, 3 years free servicing, £30 Road Tax. Yes, the ride is firm - but not uncomfortable. The handling is sharp and the brakes are excellent. Only a couple of minor irritations so far: the speakers are weak (a Denon upgrade is offered as an option), and when it rains the sweep of the driver's wiper blade is lower than the one on the passenger's side.

Had the car for over 12 months. Drives well, corners surprisingly well, although brakes can be harsh at times. Firm suspension means that you learn to avoid potholes. The fact that rear windows don't open is not really an issue is it? I drive alone most of the time and the front seats and dash etc are great. Car looks good, I still turn and look at it when I park it somewhere, which is always a good test. It still gets attention from other drivers . If you want something a little different, try one. If not join the Audi, Golf, Focus multitudes.

Had the car for a year and no problems to report. Cheap and fun to drive. The brakes take some getting used to and the ride can be harsh on poor roads, but it's so much fun to drive that I can forgive it. The EGS gearbox can be less than smooth in auto mode, but as a clutch less manual it works wonders. Would I buy again? Absolutely! Citroen have produced a car that you can fall in love with and feel passionate about.
