Hot car deal: Cupra Ateca SUV for just £229 a month is a stylish and spacious bargain
Fancy a family car with a sporty flavour? Our hot car deal for 21st June is the impressive Cupra Ateca SUV, for just £229 a month
The Cupra Ateca SUV remains a tempting package; a more stylish and sporty version of its SEAT sibling, offering good family practicality and an extensive list of standard equipment. Not quite up to the mark of a hot hatch in terms of driving dynamics, particularly in this 1.5-litre TSI petrol guise, the Ateca is still good to drive. Interior quality is a plus point, too, so if you’re after a pretty accomplished family SUV with a sharp, athletic look, then the Cupra Ateca will fit the bill.
What’s so good about this Cupra Ateca deal?
This two-year deal from Leasing Options lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,745.48 (plus a processing fee of £299.99), followed by monthly payments of £228.79. There’s plenty of flexibility if you need to tailor the deal further, although you’ll need to pay a little more for the privilege. For example, doubling the agreed mileage to 10,000 miles a year means you’ll need to find £263.93 each month, with the initial deposit amount increasing to £3,167.16.
The Ateca model offered in this particular deal comes in V1 specification, which includes 19-inch alloys, keyless entry, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, front sport seats, a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, and a 9.2-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated navigation.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, producing 148bhp via a DSG automatic gearbox, while Cupra claims overall economy of up to 42.2mpg.
What’s so good about the Cupra Ateca?
Building on the already excellent SEAT Ateca, the Cupra model injects just enough of a style difference to turn heads its way. Good passenger space and a sizable boot mean that you don’t have to sacrifice overall practicality for its sporty looks, while the standard kit list is particularly generous, even in this entry-level V1 trim.
