Haven driven Ford's since the age of 18 and now that I'm in my 50s, I decided to treat myself to a brand new car - the new Fiesta Active 1.0 Ecoboost. After only 5 months, I noticed an oil drip so I took to a main dealer who said the head gasket needed replacing. Then two months later another oil leak and the oil pump was found to be faulty. 1 month later and surprise another oil leak. I'm not sure yet what this is as Ford can't look at the car for a least two weeks. I've never had a problem ever with every Ford I've ever owned. I had my doubts about the new ecoboost engine and this has put a massive dent in my confidence in these engines. So now I'm considering changing it for another manufacturer.
