Hot car deal: best-selling Ford Puma small SUV for £255 a month
Our hot car deal for April 9th is the popular Ford Puma in sporty ST-Line trim for just £255 a month
The Ford Puma has been this year’s best-selling car so far, and with good reason: stylish, practical and good to drive, the small SUV impresses in the important areas that matter to buyers. Ok, the interior quality could be a little better – something which the newly-released facelifted model addresses – but if you want to beat the queues and take advantage of a competitive leasing deal, then this in-stock, pre-facelift ST-Line model could be just the ticket.
What’s so good about this Ford Puma deal?
This deal from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,061.44, then monthly payments of £255.12 over three years. There is flexibility to either extend the length of the agreement or adjust the annual mileage allowance, but you will pay more for the privilege. For example, increasing the agreed mileage to 10,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £270.64 every month, with an extra £186.24 added to the deposit amount.
Offered in stylish ST-Line specification, the Puma offered in this particular deal comes with a lot of kit as standard, including 17-inch alloys, an ST-Line bodystyling kit, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers, a heated front screen, cruise control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, and an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated sat-nav.
Power comes from a 1.0-litre turbocharged, three-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 123bhp via a six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph takes 9.8 seconds with impressive average fuel economy of up to 52.3mpg (WLTP combined cycle).
What’s so good about the Ford Puma?
The Puma highlights what Ford does best – making affordable, good-looking cars that are great to drive. The Blue Oval must be doing something right because so far this year the Puma is sitting at the top of the sales charts, above family favourites such as the Nissan Qashqai, Kia Sportage and the ever-popular Volkswagen Golf. There’s no doubt that the revised Puma will be an even more polished version with sharper exterior accents and improvements to the cabin and onboard tech, but if you’re after a capable, well-equipped model that’s in stock and ready to go, then this affordable ST-Line car has to be worth a look.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the three-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
