Having come from a six cylinder BMW I was worried about the hybrid lack of power noise and it not being a petrol only car. What a surprise , now a convert ( not to full electric though - range still an issue ) . This car is economical , sounds great when pushing on and between 20-50mph quicker than the beemer. oh and handles better on a B road.. Sure it has limitations already outlined by other owners but not only does it make you smile to drive but it's been 100% reliable . More often I get strangers asking what it is and usually then spend 10 minutes explaining why although it's a hybrid you can't plug it in. No longer made so keeping mine for a good few years . That from a petrolhead!!

A brilliant car! So good I traded in my' bought new' 2010 CR-Z for a new CR-Z in 2013! Totally reliable......it's a Honda! No matter which 'mode' you drive in, the mpg doesn't alter much. I regularly get 50+ mpg & on longer runs reach 60+ mpg. Great size boot, especially with rear 'seat' down. Still stands out from the crowd & turns heads. A real shame Honda Europe decided to pull the plug on the CR-Z!

Low mileage because I am now retired but very impressive car - had to get seating position just right and get used to using the "econ, normal, sport" buttons but generally car has been faultless apart from new battery fitted under warranty after 18 months - very economical and I "purr" when I pay £20 road tax. And I have had 4 years free servicing - probably car that is underestimated (you don't know what you've got till it's gone!)

Honda dealers are the best. I think because Honda UK make sure of of it. The car has always been very reliable. It performs exactly as expected. The v-tec engine has won awards for being the most reliable. The car is easy to find in a car park because it is usually the only CRZ there.

I can't believe the poorly written reviews of this car. This car does exactly what Honda intended it to do ! A contradicting write up by so called experts. This car is not meant to carry 4 people or kids - go buy a CRV if you want space and seats ... This car is a Coupe - for TWO people at the front only. This car is fast enough for any UK road - why do these plebs keep banging on about more speed. Just hit the Sport button, drop a gear and she flies. Yes of course the fuel consumption goes down. Doh !!!! Go buy a Porsche if that desperate to spend your money for speed. This car is a head turner - I have seen people nearly walk into lamp posts whilst ogling my car and watch the blokes in the passenger seat, quickly do a double look back - yes indeed, you have just seen a super designed car - not a box on wheels, like the run of the mill cars on the road today. Best car I have ever bought and I love it. Well done Honda.

It is less than 6 months old and i do not expect any reliability problems with a honda. It has good handling, looks fantastic, good mpg, plenty of kit and a reasonable performance and comfortale front seats hold you well on the twisty roads where it is well at home. All dash controls are at hand and are logically placed for ease of information and switch use. The room is good up front but the back seats are limited to small children only (or a medium size dog like we have), the boot area has a good capacity for grocery shopping. Road noise can intude due to low stance and small car size but no different to other small cars. If it had more performance it would be perfect.

Fantastic & fun. Before complaining, bear in mind it's a hybrid and not exactly expensive. It's great fun for the engine size and makes a nice noise in Sport. There are compromises. The rear "seats" reduce the insurance group more than provide practical space, but I use mine predominantly on my own. It has to be experienced and enjoyed. If you have kids or shop for a family, this won't be your main car... I had NO problems during my 18 months from new. Loved it, but got a great deal on a CR-V I couldn't pass up.

For a small engined hybrid coupe it has loads of style, great cornering and handling, roomy and comfortable in the front, rear seat only for small children and dog's etc, economical to run and give's great pleasure and is fun to drive especially on twisty roads. Maybe could do with a bit more power to make it perfect but quite powerfull enough on british road,s marks 9.5 out 10

Amazing car that flies under the radar, It seems like prices are already steadying for the CR-Z so it could be a future classic that not many people know about. The CR-Z gives great driving pleasure because of its low seating position and overall lower weight. It's nimble in corners and does really well in terms of accelerating economically from that 0-40mph. Putting it in eco mode means hybrid assist is higher than fuel consumption. In comparison, sport mode has more aggressive throttle response but you use more fuel, so the hybrid assist is identical (just comes in more aggressively) but more fuel is consumed to make the car responsive. My CR-Z has 86k miles and the hybrid battery is at 75% usable capacity, not bad for an 11-year-old hybrid system. The car had only one problem which was caused by the previous owner, once that got fixed the car has been perfect since. As a matter of fact, I'm already planning on getting a low-mileage example to keep it for years to come.
What's the one thing you like most about your car?
The feeling this car gives no matter how its driven.
If you could improve one thing, what would it be?
Modernised touch screen.
