The Hyundai i20 really makes the grade as a standout competitor in the hotly-contested supermini market. It looks stylish and is good to drive, while generous levels of kit, excellent fuel economy and low insurance groups mean it offers decent value for money, too.

What’s so good about this Hyundai i20 deal?

This deal lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £1,472.22 (plus an arrangement fee of £294), then 24 monthly payments of £163.58. If you up the mileage to 10,000 a year, then the initial payment rises to £1,653.39 plus the arrangement fee, with the monthly payments still a very reasonable £183.71.

If you’re after a capable supermini that’s a bit different from the norm then you’ll definitely want to consider the i20. Hyundai has recently treated its five-door hatchback to a facelift; sharpening up its looks even further and adding extra flair to the cabin. But, what really elevates the i20 from the pack is its onboard tech – every model is equipped with an excellent 10.25-inch digital driver’s display that’s crisp and responsive, while this Advance version also includes an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The i20’s 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine provides a healthy 100bhp, it’s fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox, and it’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds. When you throw in average fuel consumption of more than 53mpg, it’s clear that the i20 offers a great overall package.

What’s so good about the Hyundai i20?

Hyundai has bestowed the i20 with an entertaining chassis, a sweet three-cylinder engine and impressive levels of practicality and kit. Its low running costs and long five-year warranty, along with a reassuring top safety rating and comprehensive driver assistance features really help it stand out, too.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
