Hot car deal: award-winning Hyundai Kona Electric for £255 a month

Our hot car deal for February 21st is the all-electric Hyundai Kona for just £255 a month

Hyundai Kona electric deal

We named the latest Hyundai Kona our Small Family Car of the Year in our 2024 Carbuyer Best Car Awards, and there are plenty of reasons why it stands above its rivals. The Kona’s edgy exterior style offers a real wow factor, while buyers will appreciate its solid, smart interior, increased passenger space and larger boot compared with the previous model.

Delivering plenty of power and a practical range, the Hyundai Kona Electric has matured into a terrific small car; supremely capable across so many important areas for family buyers and delivering an upmarket feel that’s hard to match in the class.

What’s so good about this Hyundai Kona Electric deal?

This deal from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,058.80, then monthly payments of £254.90 over two years. There’s also a £270 processing fee to factor in and, while there is flexibility to either extend the length of the agreement or adjust the annual mileage allowance, you will pay more for the privilege. For example, increasing the agreed mileage to 10,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £300.96 every month, with an extra six hundred pounds added to the deposit amount.

The Advance specification includes 17-inch alloys, front and rear parking sensors, smart cruise control, dual-zone climate control and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with integrated sat-nav and EV route planning, to help make finding a charger while out and about much easier.

This particular Kona Electric Long Range model features a 65kWh battery, which enables it to cover up to 319 miles on a single charge, according to Hyundai. So, it’s a small family car that’s perfect for use in town and on longer trips, too, while it won’t be lacking for pace – producing 215bhp and managing 0-62mph in 7.8 seconds.

What’s so good about the Hyundai Kona Electric?

This second-generation Kona Electric is a small family car that’s all grown up – featuring a smooth electric powertrain that includes a standard-fit heat pump for increased efficiency, plusher materials and impressive tech, it’s a tremendous all-rounder. The fact that this deal is for the practical Long Range model makes the monthly payments seem even more attractive.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
