I LOVE this car! Every time it comes out of the garage it looks sooo good and every time I drive it I love the feel and sound of it.
Being a motorcyclist also, I really appreciate the way the car involves you. As for the 'sport' button, well the world changes up a gear in handling and audibly.
I previously owned a Cambiocorsa which I also loved but the Granturismo just adds that touch of class and feeling of reliability. Even better (and what drew me to the model) seats and space that will take 4 full size people in comfort. Ok the boot is spacious but not for 4 peoples luggage!
Mpg is surprising, the computer rarely drops below 21mpg, I do a mixture of local and 120 odd mile round trips. Servicing at 2 years is also much better than the previous Cambiocorsa. I want to change this car in 2017 as I've had it four very quick years but only for another newer one before they're not available any longer. Don't know how Maserati can stop production :-(
If you don't like attention then don't get one, It draws looks everywhere in all age groups.

I'll admit that considering this car as an 'almost' daily driver, I was worried that it might not be up to the job. Beautiful, sonorous and really much better to drive than expected, I can report that after 20 months of ownership that it is as solid a daily driver as a Porsche. Apart from a drained battery in the first week of ownership (rectified with a software update and new battery covered by Ferrari's excellent aftercare), I have had no issues with this car at all.
It still continues to put a smile on my face every morning too and though I wish Maserati would do a really speedy (sub 4-second) super luxury version for me to upgrade to when the time comes, I still can't find any other genuine 4-seater supercar out there that I like anywhere near as much as this fabulous car.

The maserati gts is just a fabulous car. Build quality is excellent, the styling is just beautiful and it is such a practical car to drive, either in the city or on motorways. It is in its element though on the wonderful european roads and mountain passes. The clincher is having all this in a car with a full-size four-passenger cabin.

This is my first Granturismo, I've been waiting nearly 5 years to get one and opted for the Sport with the updated nose and newer interior. All i can say is this is motoring nirvana, i've driven lots of performance cars and they all come with some serious let downs but this things sounds wonderful, looks beautiful and drives superbly.
The fuel consumption is as you would expect on a V8 so I dropped no points for that, services are 2 years or 12,000 miles and cost between £800-£1500. I was lucky enough to have a 15 month warranty with mine. Soon as you slip into the seats immediately you feel a sense of occasion, my other car is a BMW 335d and i thought that was special but this is something else.
The drive is very comfortable in Auto cruising on a motorway it's just so easy and joyful, round town with it in Sport Manual the noise kicks in early so you don't have to break speed limits to enjoy and the attention it receives makes you feel that bit more special. What is nice is the attention is positive, I think the presence of this car just calms people into appreciation rather than jealousy.
The interior is plush and very high quality the boot is a little small but fairly practical. Yes the infotainment is dated but the sat nav works, phone prep is good, cruise and auto wipers work well. To be fair i've not turned the stereo on yet in the 500 miles covered so far just don't feel I need it. Basically everything you could need to support your drive is there but not distracting.
The gear changes are fairly quick and the seat is supremely comfortable more than i expected. Dials are clear and visibility is adequate. As mentioned this thing is big (5m long, 2m wide) so you do have to pick your parking spots, but the front and rear sensors help. There is no push start button, but i feel it's more eventful to turn the key and listen to that V8 fire up, you feel more engaged with the process. All in this is the best car i've owned and i don't know what could replace it!

It's beautiful, it sounds incredible... But it's Italian, so basically it's made out of cheese. Reliability wise it's been pretty decent, only issues have been a broken rear spring, the leather in the interior peeling and bubbling, the A\C compressor failed, and the dreaded cam variators!! It's had a load of other annoying small issues, but that's part of the ownership experience when you own an Italian car. So why only 3\5 stars? Well the above mentioned work has cost just shy of £13,000! I mean granted, the cars are pretty reliable, but when they do break you get your pants absolutely pulled down over repair costs. Comparatively and Audi RS5 is faster and much better built… So really the only justification anyone could really make for buying a Maserati is image (and maybe styling and sound, although that’s subjective). The one guarantee you have is you are absolutely going to pay extortionate sums for repair and maintenance.

This is a purchase from the heart not the head. I drive quite hard and get 23mpg on average. Insurance comes in at under £400pa, fully comp including business use. Nothing has gone wrong with it at all unlike the Mercedes' I've owned which have cost me a lot of money to maintain. The auto box changes gears imperceptibly and makes the S class gearbox seem agricultural. What surprised me most was how much better the gearbox is than the Mercedes'; it's quicker, smoother and better programmed. The car is plenty fast enough. I think the Carbuyer reviewer missed the point because its the way the car makes you feel when you get in it and drive it and thats something everyone should experience at least once in their life.

The sound of this superb V8 is what makes this car magnificent. It is a joy to drive. I get surprisingly good mpg compared to what I was expecting. Dealer has been excellent, no faults with car at all.

Love this car. The Carbuyer reviews look like from someone who hasn't driven it. I mean who expects a supercar to have good mpg? You are buying this for the experience and it hasn't ever let me down and is wonderful to driver. Glad I chose this over the 911.
