Hot car deal: sporty Mazda3 hatchback for £238 a month

A family car that’s fun to drive? Our hot car deal for February 1st is the stylish Mazda3 for just £238 a month

Mazda3 hatchback

The Mazda3 remains a superb family hatchback and definitely one of the best-looking currently on sale. It's fun to drive and well-equipped, while the quality cabin is a pleasure to spend time in. You won’t be buying a Mazda3 for its immense practicality, but what it lacks in interior space and boot capacity is more than made up for by its ability to raise a smile when out on the road. Mild hybrid technology helps to deliver excellent fuel economy, too, so you needn’t worry about the 3 being overly expensive to run.

What’s so good about this Mazda3 deal?

This deal from Central Vehicle Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,855.23, then monthly payments of £237.94 over four years. You can extend the agreed mileage if you want to; upgrade to 8,000 miles and you’ll pay around a fiver extra per month, with a slight increase in the deposit amount.

Standard kit for the Mazda3 Prime Line model includes 16-inch alloys, LED headlights, a reversing camera, cruise control and a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with integrated sat-nav and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

Featuring a 120bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox, this particular Mazda3 model is able to cover 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds, while Mazda claims you’ll see fuel economy of up to 51.4mpg on a mixture of roads.

The Mazda3 is a car that will suit family buyers who enjoy driving, while its sleek exterior styling and upmarket interior mean it can hold its head high among other premium rivals in the class. If overall practicality isn’t a priority, then the talented Japanese hatchback could be the one to go for.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
