- Unique graduated roof design
- Limited to 200 examples
- Priced from £33,200
MINI has launched the Multitone Edition, which will be available exclusively for the MINI Electric. The model features a unique exterior and interior design, will cost £33,200 and is limited to just 200 examples.
Each MINI Multitone Edition will come in Sage Green Metallic, a colour previously only available on the MINI Countryman. Each car will also get a colour gradient design on the roof that spans from the windscreen to the rear, progressing through three different paint shades – Aspen White, Melting Silver and finishing in Jet Black.
MINI Electric review – retro-styled EV fun, but a limited range
MINI says that as a result of the unique painting process – which involves painting each colour one after another while wet – every Multitone Edition will have a unique one-off finish.
The standard MINI’s black or chrome headlight surrounds and MINI badge will be finished in white for the first time, and the cars sit on 17-inch ‘Scissor-Spoke’ two-tone wheels.
Unique Multitone Edition badging includes an Indian Summer Red and Sage Green logo just beyond the doors and on the side scuttles of the exterior, inner the door sills, steering wheel, sun visor, floor mats and on the dashboard.
Interestingly, MINI says the Multitone logos on the wheels are ‘self-levelling’, meaning they stay the right way up as the wheels spin.
MINI Multitone Edition cars are based on the MINI Electric Level 2 trim, meaning they come with heated front seats, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, a leather steering wheel, and sports seats. There’s also an 8.8-inch centre multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and MINI’s navigation system, cruise control, automatic headlights, a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors.
