Toyota RAV4 Business Edition revealed
A new Business Edition trim is added to the RAV4 as part of a package of updates to the SUV range
A new trim has been added to the Toyota RAV4 SUV range, aimed squarely at the company car driver. The Toyota RAV4 Business Edition is available now, priced at £23,995 – £1,500 more than the entry-level Active model.
The introduction of the new trim is part of an overhaul for the RAV4 range, which also sees additional equipment fitted as standard to Active and Invincible spec levels.
The RAV4 Business Edition features Toyota's Touch 2 with Go infotainment system, which includes sat-nav, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth phone connectivity, a rear-view camera and internet connectivity – all operated through a colour touchscreen.
Other standard equipment includes cruise control, dual-zone climate control and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers. That's all in addition to the alloy wheels and electric door mirrors fitted to the Active model on which the Business Edition is based.
The Business Edition is only available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine in front-wheel-drive form in order to keep running costs to a minimum. Toyota claims CO2 emissions of 127g/km and fuel economy of 57.6mpg. Insurance costs are the lowest of any RAV4, at group 25.
Other enhancements to the 2015 Toyota RAV4 range include new alloy wheel finishes and body styling trims for the Invincible model. New options are also available, including heated leather front seats and a Touch 2 with Go Plus infotainment system, which features voice recognition and three years of free sat-nav map updates. A new Deep Titanium metallic paint finish is also available.
