Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag edition announced
A special edition F-Type and model updates arrive to tempt customers
The Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag special edition has been announced, celebrating 70 years since the reveal of the Jaguar XK120 sports car in 1948. Along with unique styling, the exclusive F-Type will feature a luxurious interior. It's available to order now, from £62,335.
Chequered Flag branding adorns the headrests, sill plates and dark brushed aluminium centre console. Meanwhile, Windsor Leather upholstery and embossed 'Performance Seats' continue the subtle interior makeover, along with a dark suede headliner. In keeping with the motorsport theme, a red top marker has been added to the steering wheel.

Customers will be able to choose Caldera Red, Fuji White or Carpathian Grey with a contrasting black roof and 20-inch alloy wheels in either gloss black or a diamond-turned finish. A set of SVO extended side sills and red brake calipers complete the look.
The Chequered Flag special edition will be available as both a Coupe and Convertible, powered by the 297bhp four-cylinder or 335bhp and 375bhp supercharged V6 engines. All three come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard, as well as rear-wheel drive. The most powerful version is also available with four-wheel drive.
The entire Jaguar F-Type range is receiving improvements for the latest model year, including the brand's latest Touch Pro infotainment system. This is now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, displaying popular apps on its 10-inch touchscreen. A rear-view camera and front parking sensors also become standard equipment.
The range-topping F-Type R Convertible and Coupe models get retuned suspension that's up to 24% softer than before to improve ride comfort. At the same time, they also gain some chassis components from the F-Type SVR to improve handling.
Prices start from £62,335 for the Chequered Flag P300 Coupe, climbing to £82,935 for the special-edition P380 Convertible.
