Hot SEAT Leon Cupra R ST arrives with 365bhp
Limited edition Leon Cupra R ST comes with power and technology upgrades
The SEAT Leon Cupra R ST estate is the fastest model from the manufacturer to date. Only 150 examples will be available in the UK, where it will rival the Volkswagen Golf R Estate and the Skoda Octavia vRS Estate. It will be on sale from April 2019 with prices starting from £37,975.
From the factory, the Leon Cupra R ST features a turbocharged 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 296bhp and 400Nm of torque that powers all four wheels via a seven-speed DSG gearbox. For only £500 extra though, SEAT will install an optional Abt tuning kit, boosting power to 365bhp.

With this upgrade installed, the Leon Cupra R ST will sprint from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds; a 0.4-second improvement over the standard car. Top speed remains unchanged, at a limited 155mph.
To cope with the increase in power, the Leon Cupra R receives a number of chassis upgrades including more powerful Brembo brakes, reworked suspension and lighter 19-inch alloy wheels.
Outside, the Cupra R ST stands apart from the standard models thanks to a restyled front bumper, panoramic sunroof, new side skirts, carbon fibre front splitter and rear diffuser, unique Abt badging and copper coloured accents on the bodywork.
The interior upgrades include a pair of bucket seats, an Alcantara steering wheel, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital dial cluster, keyless entry and copper-coloured interior inserts.
