Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition breaks cover
A special edition 370Z coupe has been revealed to celebrate 50 years of Z cars
The Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition is now on sale, after it was launched at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. This special edition model is part of the company's celebration of the anniversary of its iconic Nissan GT-R and ‘Z’ badged models. Only 22 of these special 370Zs will make it to the UK, and buyers will need to pay £38,995 - quite the premium over the £29,870 starting price of the current model.
Powered by the same 324bhp 3.7-litre V6 engine as the standard model, the 50th Anniversary Edition features a six-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels, and can get from 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 155mph.
The best sports cars to buy in 2019
The exterior design of this especial edition 370Z is a tribute to the livery from the BRE 240Z race car and can be specced in two colour schemes, with a choice of white paint with contrasting red detailing or silver paint with contrasting black detailing. Further unique additions include special 50th anniversary badging, and 19-inch RAYS alloy wheels.
Inside, the interior has been upgraded with a pair of heated sports seats trimmed in leather and suede, an Alcantara steering wheel and dark chrome kick panels.
The Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition is also available to buy now. Limited to just 18 UK cars, each one will cost £92,995.
