Citroen DS3 Red revealed

Citroen has revealed the DS3 Red special edition, which gets additional red styling touches, inside and out, and some extra equipment as standard.

Based on the mid-level DStyle and range-topping DSport models, the Red comes in white or – if you’re willing to pay an extra £480 – metallic black. No matter which colour you choose, the roof, mirrors and grille will be finished in red. The alloys, meanwhile, will be painted the colour of the body.

The interior gets a gloss-red insert running all the way across the dashboard and around the door handles. DStyle models get Bluetooth and USB as standard, along with an upgraded stereo. DSport models add automatic lights, rear parking sensors and interior mood lighting.

The DStyle Red comes with a 120bhp petrol engine or a 90bhp diesel engine, costing £15,655 and £15,855 respectively. That’s £805 more than the standard DStyle.

The DSport Red, meanwhile, is available with a 155bhp petrol and a 115bhp diesel, with prices for each set at £17,780 and £18,060. The Citroen DS3 Red is available to order now.
