The updated Peugeot RCZ will be launched here January, with prices starting from £21,595.
The new RCZ is set apart from the old model by its heavily restyled front and subtly updated rear, but otherwise the line-up remains pretty much the same.
That includes the Sport and GT models, although some of the equipment on offer has changed. Sport models get 18-inch alloys, dual-zone air-con and rear parking sensors, but Peugeot has now added automatic headlights to the list.
Meanwhile, GT-spec cars get 19-inch alloys, leather upholstery and a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel. The GT start at £23,995.
Buyers can also specify the RCZ’s roofarches in matt black for the first time, but a range of other finishes are also available. There are a few more alloy wheel designs and some new decals to help buyers personalise their car, too.
Peugeot offers a choice of three engines for the RCZ: a 1.6-litre turbo petrol with 154bhp, a 1.6-litre turbo petrol with 197bhp or a 2.0-litre diesel with 161bhp.
Brand new to the RCZ range is the RCZ R, complete with a 240bhp version of the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine. This range-topping model arrives at the end of 2013 and hasn’t yet been priced.
