The new flagship version of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo will cost from £107,460 when it goes on sale next year.
The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S gets the same 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 as the standard Cayenne Turbo, but with an extra 50bhp – making it capable of 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds.
The 550bhp super-SUV will manage 176mph and return 24.6mpg. CO2 emissions are 270g/km.
The new Cayenne Turbo S is packed with equipment, which Porsche claims is “configured for maximum dynamic performance.” This includes adaptive air suspension, Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) – designed to reduced body roll – and a rear differential that locks the rear wheels to improve traction.
All Cayenne Turbo S models also get Porsche’s Sport Chrono pack as standard, which includes a special launch control system, and a stopwatch in the centre of the dash.
The grille, headlight surrounds and mirror caps are all painted in high-gloss black paint, while the huge 21-inch alloy wheels give the Turbo S a sporty look. There are various leather options for the interior, including a series of two-tone choices reserved exclusively for the flagship Cayenne Turbo S.
The Turbo S is on sale from January, and all cars come with a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and a complimentary driving course at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone.
