Volvo V40 prices announced
The all-new Volvo V40 is a five-door hatchback that features the world’s first pedestrian airbag.
The new Volvo V40 hatchback is now available to order, with prices starting from £19,745.
The V40 is available in three trim levels, ES, SE and SE Lux with Bluetooth fitted as standard on all models. The 1.6-litre diesel model is fitted with stop/start and is capable of 78.5mpg with emissions of 94g/km – making it exempt from Road Tax.
Safety features include standard-fit City Safety automatic braking technology, the world’s first pedestrian airbag and an optional Pedestrian Detection system, effective at speeds of up 22mph.
Entry-level ES trim comes with climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels stability and traction control, plus a leather steering wheel and gear knob as standard.
Nav specification can be added to all models. This adds a 7-inch sat-nav system, with voice-activated control, DVD player and two free map updates offered annually.
Production of the V40 begins in May, with the first customer deliveries due in September.
