The Lutecia Limited Edition sits above the Clio S Edition in the range, while also getting additional standard equipment from the sporty R.S. Line model.
Inside, standard features include fabric upholstery with brass piping, climate control, a heated leather steering wheel, heated seats and rear privacy glass. Standard technology includes a seven-inch digital dial cluster, a 9.3-inch portrait touchscreen with sat nav, interior ambient lighting and an electronic parking brake. Selectable driving modes also feature.
Safety features include blindspot warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera. Buyers also get all of the standard safety technology from the rest of the Clio line-up, with lane keep assist, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition. Renault’s active emergency braking system is also standard and includes both pedestrian and cyclist detection.
To set it apart from the regular models, the Clio Lutecia gets a mild styling makeover with a Diamond Black metallic paint finish and brass contrasting detailing across the grille, wing mirrors and lower side panels. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels with matching brass detailing.
Only one powertrain is available, a turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol which produces 89bhp. This sends power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and manages 0-62mph in 12.2 seconds. Officially, Renault claims this engine can return up to 54.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 119g/km.
