Audi RS3 Sportback hatchback (2015-2017) - Interior & comfort
The Audi RS3 boasts yet another stunning Audi interior and comes well equipped
Audi RS3 Sportback dashboard
The standard A3 Sportback’s interior is a great base for adding sporty style and the RS3 duly turns things up a notch. There's a pair of sports seats in black leather with RS3 embossing and contrasting red stitching. For an extra £800, you can upgrade to gorgeous wingback 'super sports seats' finished in quilted leather.
The flat-bottomed steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara fabric feels great to hold, while the instrument cluster has been upgraded with a digital boost meter for the turbocharger. The RS3 cabin is uncluttered, modern, minimalist and feels very well built.
Equipment
The RS3 comes with plenty of standard equipment, including LED headlights with daytime running lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, matt-aluminium wing mirrors, a roof spoiler and two large oval exhausts. There’s also a screen for displaying the sat-nav, rear parking camera and infotainment functions.
Customers can choose from eight different colours, including two new shades introduced on the RS3 – Nardo Grey and Catalunya Red.
Options
The options list for the RS3 is extensive and it’s easy to significantly increase the cost of the car with a few ticked boxes. There are two stereo upgrades available - Bose and Bang & Olufsen - as well as tinted windows, a panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, extra styling touches and a range of accessories.
The optional sports exhaust is very rewarding if you can afford it and the optional adaptive suspension makes the car more comfortable without compromising its performance. These are available as part of a £1,495 Dynamic Pack.
