Reliability has been good but last year it needed a new clutch and dual mass flywheel and early this year needed a camshaft position sensor

Generally the car has been fine, just wear and tear. A few electrical problems but nothing to worry about. Overall, considering the cars age I'm very happy with its reliability.

Some major problems early on, such as Rear Bushes and front suspension needing replacing by 28,000 miles. More reliable in latter years.

Aside a few electrical faults such as 12v power sockets and every now and again whilst driving the dash will power down briefly, the car has been very reliable so far. Now on 37000 miles

It has been extremely reliable, I've had very few problems with it, considering the mileage I put on it.

done 117000 miles passed last two mots with no problems did have a new starter motor at 111000 apart from that it hasent missed a beat.

My only gripe is the fact that I have already replaced 2 EGR valves and believe this to be a common problem. Apart from that the car has been excellent.

Electrics haven't worked since the car was delivered. Warranty is worse than useless as the main dealer made it impossible to get the car fixed - problems with: Central locking Windows Stereo Bluetooth Steering Auto Gearbox and immobiliser

Excellent value and good performance / economy ratio with the 2.2 litre diesel and 6 gears. Only weakness is rather poor ride quality. So far reliability good. It has never let me down.

Generally the car has been ok, tyres wear unevenly, discs and pads renewed at 50000 miles with mintex pads and braking was improved, great for going on holiday with the family but because of the current fuel price is expensive to run.

Its 11 years old covered 115,000 miles and everything still works as it should. I cover upto 600 miles per week in it and it has never let me down so far. I dont love it but i cant really fault it. Well done ford.

Overall great car (130bhp, 6 speed), but the cold weather in the last month has broken each of the front springs. Hopefully that's it now though and i'll have no more to replace.

My car is the top of the range in the model, it has far more equipment add-ons, along with comfort and styling than any other car in its class. It also leaves many of the 'prestige' cars, of a similar class, in its wake, they just don't compare. I constantly review my car and other brands seeking my next purchase, i begin my search usually 12 months in advance to get a good overview of the market, as yet i'm sticking with what i have, it gives me great value and quality for my money.

Ford mondeo is a big comfortable car that is pretty tough when it needs to be on remote roads. Great feeling of security and strength. Love the cruise control for relaxed driving and economy. 48mpg over 80k miles I like it

Good car. Comfortable, spacious with a huge boot. It's good to drive and very safe. Economy is acceptable, but not great. Performance is average; it's a heavy car, after all. Car is well built, but drivetrain has failed twice - new gearbox under warranty at 50k miles, and new clutch at 80k miles (not under warranty). Next car will be much more economical, with lower co2 (for company car tax). I would not get another mondeo as a company car (tax), but would consider buying one second hand.

Large roomy comfortable ride and good handling, fairly economical, reasonable performance. A big improvement on previous fords that i have owned for finish, appearance and reliability. Only problem is rearward and side vision, would be extremely difficult to park without parking aids which are fitted standard on this model. The voice controlsare a bit of a gimick and not really necessary apart from blue tooth phone which is very useful. It also has factory fitted sat nav which is out dated by mobile units standards, but sound system is very good.

I love my mondeo. The shape, the wonderful smooth drive,i could drive it all day. Lots of room in the trunk for my golf clubs and electric trolly and more. The sound system, To sum it all up, if my mondeo was a lady, i would marry her tomorrow and never leave her side. Until her younger sister came along lol.

Great looks, well finished and, but for minor irritations like door stay positioning (easy to let large front doors 'fly' open) and estate load cover (flap drops down behind load when loading, and difficult to reach). Crazy prices for oem navigation and park-aid too.
