Mazda 3 is an excellent car. I’ve driving for the last seven years and it’s been reliable and robust. I’m now only looking for a new car as I need a seven seater for the kids and the grand parents.

Did have a problem which necessitated replacement of the cars main computer control box. Since then it has been fine. that fault was disappointing because of the lousy reaction from both Mazda and also the main dealer in terms of a replacement car for the duration of the works, whereby the box was sent to Germany for a software download.

Car failed to start on 2 ocasions , resulting in dealer having to order a new battery , 1 dealer wanted the car for a whole day to test the battery !!!

Have had 4 Mazdas from new if I have had a problem it has been sorted without question. Problems are few hence why I`ve had 4 Mazdas

We have owned two Mazda 3 previously. 1 was absolutely brilliant, which was why we went for a second one. This was a terrible car, new clutch at 11,000 miles and a new bearing on the main drive shaft at 12,000 miles! Sandicliffe Leicester were great and we are now on our third one. This one seems perfect so far, only owned it two months.

Only had the car for 4 months, but I initially had to take it back 4 times due to garage fitting a bent alloy wheel which was replaced only after I contacted Mazda UK and 2 of the other wheels balancing weights repeatedly shifting or falling off.

Blue failure,I-Stop Failure,Heated seats faiure.Power steering failure, the first two items failed 1 month after 3 year warranty finished. Mazda reiability very poor in this car

It has not gone wrong, and required no defect rectification on collection from new. This is my 4th Mazda and only one ever developed a fault
