Have been driving the prius for just over 1 year it's absolutely brill I do 1000 miles per month cost me £30 just a week on fuel road tax free cheap insurance had no problems what so ever. If I was to replace the car it would be another prius

i have owned Toyota cars for over 20 years and have had 4 Priuses. I have never had any problems whatsoever.

This car has been extremely reliable only requiring tyres and a new 12 volt battery after 7 years

I like the car itself very much except for the view through the rear window, which is dire. The navigation system is a disaster because toyota seem not to have thought through the question of updating it effectively. The car came with "summer only" tyres and they are hopeless on snow. Toyota seem incapable of giving any sensible advice on winter tyres. My biggest moan concerns the warranty. It's a long story, but in a nutshell, toyota shortened the warranty period for the gen3 prius as compared with the gen2. After a short period, they restored the longer warranty, but not for those who bought during that short period. Requests to be treated like earlier and later purchasers bring no answer from toyota.

I have owned this car for three months, bought as used, reg 09 produced in 2010. It's done 36,000 miles, 44.1 mpg, no issues since I owned it, £0 road tax, insurance is not much higher than my previously owned 1.0L Yaris. The drawbacks I can think of are: 1. Poor vision ability from rear window. 2. Sat Nav can't be stopped when driving, until you arrive your destination or turn the car off. 3. Acceleration is unbearable slow on Eco model, so I have to use Power Model, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get in and out a roundabout quick enough. But I have to say it is a reliable car, I have brought peace in mind.
