Brilliant car! I had a toyota avensis (07) before and had a new engine and neumerous other things done...Jap Reliability let me down but the germans have a winner with this car... Good looking, stylish, good spec, well priced, good economy, roomy (enough for the baby and golf clubs) overall more than happy with my choice...

It is comfortable, particularly on long distances, reasonably brisk in performance and good economy. The only gripe i have is there is no cruise control and it doesn't appear that one can be fitted retrospectively at present. Good boot and really everything i need in a car.

Trim rattle in a car of this calibre is not acceptable, although the dealer has had the car 4 times, they have still failed to locate the rattle. That aside i have found the cc to be a stylish well equipped car that turns heads.

Minor issues in terms of quality/reliability Large a pillars and low roof line obstruct view particularly at junctions. My height (6-4) may not help

A lovely looking car, comfortable, drives well, access takes getting used to as it is a coupe style car. On a negative point it had to have the clutch, slave cylinder & dual mass flywheel replaced after 24,000 miles at a cost of £1100 (with no support from VW) when the clutch pedal just stopped operating the clutch. Also the sat nav system wasn't as good as the one in the the Octavia Elegance that I previously drove.

Though my car has never broken down at about 16 months old i took it back to supplying dealership as it suffered a lack of power pulling away from junctions,they looked at it said it was ok ( i suspect they just connected it up to a computer that said " NO FAULTS FOUND",it went back a couple more times for the same fault and i got the same answer,it was only in June this year( just before warrenty expired)i took it back for rattles and the same problem NO POWER,and was taken out in the car by a master technition who found it had no power and would need a new valve in the turbo.It didn't need a new valve it needed a new turbo!

it has let me down on one occasion with an exhaust gas recycling problem. other cars i have had in the last 10 years have not lett me down at all, so a bit disappointing. but few other faults.

door handle stiffness - sorted easily and a weird thing with headlight shadow cast are the only issues

I waited 6 months for delivery but it has been so worth the wait, it is everything - and more - than i expected (hoped), inside is quiet, ride is a little hard in sport mode but then it is supposed to be, in comfort mode it is a gem, styling is superb. It just feels 'right', solid and cossetting. Though having said that i traded in, after 9 years, a saab 9-5 se and it too was (is) very good.

First impressions are very goood, only completed 2000 miles so far. Would recomend.

Excellent car to drive for its size, performs as well as an Audi TT and has a smoother ride. Most of my driving is on motorways and it’s an excellent commuter. The torque band is good across the gears and heated seats are an excellent feature. The only negative point is that the wheel centres corrode. Replacing the wheels made a huge difference to its appearance. The only fault I had with the car was a rear wheel reluctor ring interfered with the auto parking system, once it was changed I had no further issues. It returns good fuel economy across all driving modes and I would recommend this car time and time again. The Interior spec is good, although the sat nav doesn't allow you to enter full postcodes so options restricted. Interior size good it’s a big car and comfortable in front and back. It's a good runner and a reliable, stylish car.

I've had my Passat CC 6 years now and has been the best car i've ever had (and i've had a lot). In six years it's only needed front brakesm a timing belt and two springs. I travel to France a lot and can get to Paris on just over half a tank and in comfort. The 140 engine pulls well and it's a pleasure to drive. I'm selling it to my son next month, as i've purchased a CC R Line, I just hope its as good.

A great looking car with style and panache, lovely to drive and very comfortable returns 49 mpg which i think is great for a car of this size. It has lots of extras which i added the most important being xenon headlights with auto running lights for our safety

Refined, comfortable, economical long distance transport and perfectly manageable around town despite its size. Rides and handles well, steering a little lifeless. Only problem was a curious wear pattern across one rear brake disk. My excellent vw dealer dealt with it quickly and efficiently as a warranty claim.
