I bought this car with 7 miles on the clock, it now has 160,000, I have used it daily for work (On & off road) and pleasure(caravan towing). I have had no real problems apart from small electrical snags and have just put it through its MOT once again and for the first time had to spend some money to get it through. Welding on the chassis, brake pipes, hand brake cable and suspension (parts can be difficult to obtain). The amount spent warrants the expenditure for what its worth, car value is £1500 cost to put through £600. the big scare is road tax £520 per year (ouch) but I'll get one more year out of it for work and towing. Overall a very good experience.

Good for towing with no problems. Brilliant off road and I would buy another. It's cheap to buy and my wife loves it.

Second Rexton I have owned. I use it on- and off-road. I also often tow. I have had no problems in the first year and 15,000 miles. Extremely comfortable and auto 'box is very good. First service at 12,000 miles was £175 including VAT. Will have another.

On paper, there's everything you'd want from a 4x4. There's climate control, leather seats, lots of electrics, etc. Unfortunately none of it works that well, if at all. It seems like they've put a lot of thought into the design and features, then used the cheapest parts and labour available to put it together and the result is an exremely unreliable and frustrating machine where even a replacement ecu will take 4 months to source and cost nearly £5000.

Great tow car, if you have a caravan or trailer to pull for work or play then you need this car. I have had no problems with this car and I am just about to buy a newer model.
